Every single day I’m amazed by the talent that surrounds us right here in Manitoba. There are so many unreal local businesses that there is really no excuse to look abroad. I do my best to support local and I hope you do too.

Here are five of my favourite NEW local businesses! The owners of these ventures are all talented amazing women, most of which wearing several hats and we are so lucky to have them based right here in our backyard.

Chickadee Design Studio-

Trista and Carrie are two of the best web and graphic designers in the business. They both have careers in the field, but recently decided to start their own venture as they saw a need for their services in the small business market. They are amazing to work with and have such great elegance and creativity. They created and designed both my logo and website and I’ve been recommending them to clients as well. I love their style and also their budget friendly prices.

Petite Prairie-

Since having my little girl, I’m OBSESSED with baby accessories! Thankfully I was introduced to Laura and Kate, owners of Petite Prairie and they’ve been able to style my babe and satisfy my need for gorgeous accessories. They launched Petite Prairie just under a year ago and have already taken the market by storm. Their designs are adorable, unique and very fashion forward. If you’re looking for the perfect accessory for your baby or a custom baby gift, Petite Prairie definitely has you covered.

Rae of Life Fitness-

Jana, owner of Rae of Life Fitness recently launched her first local bootcamp. She’s an incredibly fit mom of two beautiful girls and decided to take her passion for health and fitness to the next level by becoming a Certified Fitness Trainer and starting her own business. She’s fun, fresh and incredibly knowledgeable. Her bootcamps are designed for all fitness levels and offer the perfect balance of variety to guarantee the absolute best results.

      I don’t know about you, but I love a little sparkle and a little glam. Stephanie, owner of GlamHerBands has been able to feed this craving with her insanely beautiful belts and accessories. Every mama and hard working
woman deserves some R&R, am I right? Nothing is more relaxing than a day at the spa and Myuz is the perfect geteaway. Located in the South Point neighbourhood, Tina, owner of Myuz has created the most beautiful spa tucked away in her home. She is not only exceptionally talented both in esthetics and makeup application but her prices are very reasonable as well. Treat yourself to a day at the spa.
